Plans, and the best-laidness thereof.

Three years ago, as I was preparing for my last trip to my native Scotland, I glanced at the weather forecast for the trip, and saw rain for every day we were there.

Tomorrow, Joy & I leave for another trip to Scotland. It’s August, the brief period when it stops raining, and is sunny, right?

New distributed computing project “sponsored” by the Beeb. It’s an interesting problem to solve, and they’ve done the smart thing that made SETI so viral: A really attractive screensaver that will attract attention around offices. Now running on a bunch of my PCs.
