Excellent short film co-written by and co-starring Sarah Haskins, who used to do the Target Women segments on Current TV.
Oh man, I can’t wait for this. A clip from Chris Morris’s upcoming comedy about English suicide bombers. Word from Sundance is that it’s as good as “In the Loop”.
This is possibly the most mind-blowing thing I’ve read in a while. I’ll never see that film the same way again.
This looks fantastic — A movie version of “The Thick of It”. Hoping it gets a US release. “You sound like a Nazi Julie Andrews!”
Great post by Linda Holmes about the critics’ reaction to “Burn After Reading”.
Oh man, this looks so fucking good.
Michel Gondry’s next film. Jack Black and Mos Def remaking Ghostbusters and Robocop? Looks good!
Trailer for the new film by Judd Apatow (of Freaks & Geeks, Undeclared and 40-Year-Old Virgin), which has the excellent Seth Rogen in the leading man role. Made me laugh.
Teaser trailer for the new Die Hard movie featuring Bruce Willis and A Mac. Disappointingly, given its title, not set in New Hampshire. Spoiler: Shit blows up.
Saw this trailer yesterday, and it caught my attention in the same way that the trailer for “Being John Malkovich” did years ago.
Trailer for the upcoming Tarantino/Rodriguez flick. Could be awesome. Could be a train wreck. But it _does_ feature Rose McGowan with a machine gun for a leg.
The (rather poorly-received) movie version of trippy 70's on-before-the-BBC-evening-news French animation, The Magic Roundabout, has been re-dubbed for America.
Some of the (mostly piss-poor ex- or current-SNL) vocal talents are horrendous. Whoopi Goldberg as Emintrude? Jimmy motherfuckin' Fallon as Dylan?!?
(Jim Broadbent vs William H Macy as Brian, on the other hand, is too close to call)
But worst of all is the bastardisation of Dougal's name for the movie's title. Clearly America is a little *too* hooked-on-phonics.
