Several letters written by Jim Henson and other muppety folks. Wonderful stuff.
Behind the scenes photos from the set dresser on the first Muppet movie.
Raw amazing. My life will not be complete until I get to eat a Two Snooth cupcake.
Another great Ignite talk — Deanna Zandt reminds the grown-ups of all the important life lessons tucked into The Muppet Movie.
Even my reasonably strong dislike for Jimmy Fallon couldn’t stop me loving the little outtake of him rehearsing with the Muppets.
Spent some birthday cash creating my own custom Muppet Whatnot on the FAO Schwartz website. I'm thoroughly excited at the prospect of having a Muppet of my very own.
Unrelated: I am 32.
“Ada: Is it the Muppet show?
Me: No, the Muppet movie!
Ada: Oh man. That’s even worse.”
Wicked awesome — FAO Schwartz has created a Build-a-Bear-like experience for creating “Whatnot” Muppets (the random background artistes of the Muppet world). The at-home experience is particularly clever — you get a set of cards and vinyl clings, put together the Muppet you want, send it in, and they make and ship you your Muppet. Note to my family: Yes, this is what I want for my Christmas.
So great to see the Muppet company having fun with the medium of YouTube. Incredibly reminiscent of the old musical numbers on The Muppet Show.
The whole of a *fantastic* behind-the-scenes documentary about the making of The Muppet Show.
Why have I not seen this until now? Beautifully-made pitch-perfect re-casting of Pulp Fiction with Muppets. Sam the Eagle *is* Christopher Walken.
Love the “features” on this. (Found while playing around on the renamed “Google Product Search”)
“Puppet Up” — a recording of the Jim Henson Company’s puppet improv show — will be shown tonight on TBS. Improv on TV never quite works, but I’ll be watching this regardless.
One of the best Muppet Show clips ever. Beaker performs “Feelings”
A massive collection of the “Wilkins and Wontkins” coffee commercials made by Jim Henson in the late 50s. Splendidly violent!
